Revolution Franchise Brokers
My name is Jason Revere. Thank you for visiting my site!
I have always found that it's important to know a little something about the people with whom you choose to do business, so here's a little about me.
I live in Fernandina Beach Florida with my wife (Danielle) and 3 daughters (Rileigh, Skylar, & Irene). I named my company Revolution Franchise Brokers for a few reasons.

1. I am an 8th generation direct descendant of the great Boston silversmith & patriot, Paul Revere. He was one of the most important figures in the American Revolution, and he left his mark on history without being an aristocrat - one of the power brokers of 18th century America.

You won't find his signature on any of the founding documents. He wasn't involved in the Continental Congress. But his impact on the Revolutionary War is undeniable.

Similarly, you don't need any special skills to build a substantial business. All you need (like Revere) is resourcefulness and a strong work ethic - and of course, the RIGHT franchise system.

2. I believe that owning your own business is the best way to Declare your own Independence. If you want to enjoy the independence that comes with owning your own franchised business you must understand two things:
-Independence is NOT freedom from responsibility - It is freedom WITH responsibility.

-It's NOT freedom from work - It is freedom TO work.
How I Got Into The Franchise Industry
I was always drawn to the franchise industry. My affinity for franchising began when I first studied the legal intricacies of the industry in a business law class at Ball State University. What a wonderful thing! Someone creates a business, systematizes it so it can be replicated, and for a relatively small fee, allows people to build their own profitable businesses as franchisees. I cannot think of a more altruistic way to scale a business nationally.
I had always wanted to own a business, but until learning more about franchising, I always thought it was nothing more than a "pipe dream".

Let me put it this way:

I'm not "a/an" something.

I'm not a doctor, lawyer, mechanic, programmer, etc. So, like everyone else who are not "a/an" something, if I want to own a business I have to be a FRANCHISEE.

Upon graduating college, I had to push pause on my dreams to own a franchise because...

I didn't have any money! In fact, thanks to private student loans, I had a net worth well south of ZERO!

I did, however, have a skill that allowed me to secure a career as an advertising Account Executive with a local radio station group in Terre Haute, Indiana.

What was that skill? Well, as a former employee of mine put it - "My only skill is the ability to talk". (it was meant as an insult from said disgruntled employee after I had to let him go, but I took it as a great compliment.)

During my 13 years in the advertising industry (jobs that included local radio, cable television, broadcast television, print, outdoor advertising, social media and digital marketing) I learned a lot about what it takes to grow a business. I was able to help my clients grow through executing creative and cost-effective marketing campaigns. Through this, I became a trusted advisor for dozens of local, regional, and national companies. One of those companies was a local roofing company that had a visionary owner with goals of franchising.

FINALLY, I had my opportunity to break into the franchise world!

MY FRANCHISE EDUCATION - TRIAL BY FIRE!
When the owner of that roofing company was ready to begin franchising, he asked me if I would be interested in helping him launch the franchise.

I didn't have to think too long. I was ALL IN!

We officially launched our new franchise in 2018 with the awarding of our first location (thank you to the franchise owner that took the leap of faith on us - I am eternally grateful for you!).

THE GOOD PART OF FRANCHISING

During my 4 years at the helm of this franchise I witnessed how powerful it can be when the RIGHT person is paired with the RIGHT franchise. I was able to watch people become multi-millionaires - those folks changed their family trees by building generational wealth with the substantial revenue they generated with their franchises.

How cool, right?

And it was cool! Nothing in my professional career has been more rewarding!

I am no longer involved with that franchise (keep reading...), but I did recently receive a text message from one of those franchisees telling me that his company recently had a $2.6 million MONTH! Unbelievable!

NOW FOR THE BAD PART OF FRANCHISING

Unfortunately, not all of our franchise partners faired as well...

Not only was I able to see how incredible it can be when the franchisor/franchisee "fit", I also saw how devastating it can be when the franchisor/franchisee weren't a match.

I am the first to admit that I/we made a lot of mistakes during my stint as the VP of Franchise Development, the most damaging of which involved awarding franchises to the WRONG individuals. None of these mistakes were malicious, rather they stemmed from ignorance. We didn't know what we didn't know...

Awarding franchises to individuals who are not ideal candidates is a typical mistake made by emerging brands. (That's why I rarely recommend franchises to my clients that have less than 20 active locations)

The franchisor-franchisee relationship is a lot like a marriage. That's why "fit" is one of the most important factors to consider when investigating a franchise opportunity and when evaluating a candidate. And, like a marriage, sometimes people make the wrong choice!

Seeing these people struggle with their business was hard. We did all that we could for them, but it was a constant uphill battle. They weren't bad people, and we weren't a bad franchise - in fact, they were good people and we were a great franchise! The problem was that they didn't have the skillset necessary to operate our business model to it's fullest effect. Plain and simple. The relationship was destined to end in divorce, and it did.

THE BIRTH OF A REVOLUTION
It was all of these experiences - the good, the bad, and the ugly - that opened my eyes to an enormous need that existed in the franchise industry.

-Lack of hard data on franchise brands.
-Great franchises that go under the radar while terrible franchises continue to grow.

So, with much deliberation, I decided to move my family to Florida for a fresh start, and to launch my franchise consulting practice. It wasn't easy to leave, but I felt that I could help more people by striking out on my own.
I knew I needed more resources than I could build by myself, so I joined the most prestigious franchise education and brokerage firm in the industry - the Franchise Brokers Association (FBA). Upon graduating from the FBA's Franchise Training Institute, I officially launched Revolution Franchise Brokers in February 2021, and I've been fortunate enough to help dozens of individuals find and invest in the perfect franchise fit to help them achieve the financial freedom they sought.
Listen, I didn't invent the concept of a franchise broker/consultant, but I did create a new way of operating as one.
-NO FLUFF
-NO BS
-NO CRAPPY FRANCHISES
-ONLY THE BEST FRANCHISES AVAILABLE
I exist to help prevent both franchisors and potential franchisees from making the wrong decision.
